What kind of BSFC #'S are you naturally aspirated guys seeing? I'm trying to decide between a 30# or 36# injector for my 550-600HP NA motor. I have the old style DFI (for now), I'm leaning more towards the 30# but I'm curious on what results you more experienced guys may have gotten.
Hopefully it works out the same for me, seems like even 30#'s would be more than enough. Seems like you have very low BSFC #'s good job. What engine management do you use? Again thanks for the reply!
I run 36# Accels. Duty cycle is less than 60% with stock fuel regulator and making 455 factory rating type horsepower...about 400 on a Dynojet for whp.
With a BFSC of .5, the 36# will support 576hp. The 30's only 480. Given a choice I would choose the bigger injector because of duty cycle and more overhead for injector pulse width at WOT.
I may upgrade to that Gen VII sooner than I thought. I'll get back to you on that. I'll definitly will upgrade sooner or later. I haven't purchased the injectors Yet but they will be 30 or 36#'ders. Although I would like to believe the engine will be efficient enough to work with a smaller injector. We'll see.
