code 22 ??
hey guys today my check engine light came on so when i got home i got the code wich was 22, so i got my haynes book and it says its a throttle position sensor. also last night i drove in some pretty hard rain and the car ran fine. but this morning when i whent out before it shifted into 2nd gear it felt like it was boggin down or running out of gas then kicked and started to run normal. it did it for awhile then stoped, then while i was crusing, i felt it bog down agin just a little bit. i dont know what it could be but, i was thinking it could be some water in my tank form the hard rain or my fuel filter is getting cloged. does that sound like anything that the tps would do. oh btw i have a 84 with 121k thanks for the help.

had same problem with my 85. had to replace the throttle sensor. bought it at autozone. car ran perfect after that. when i was driving home my check engine light came on. checked codes and i had 21 and 22. like i said turned out to be the sensor. i had cleaned my engine ,and i am always careful with the amount of spray, but somehow some got in the sensor. that did it
