You would normally incorporate a piston like this as part of a rebuild, however, unless you're trying to keep your motor stodl dimensions for a certain most people who go into a chevy motor will
stroke: 3.48" to 3.75" stroke
bore: 4.00" to 4.030" (although not neccessary to go a full .030")
and lenthen the rod from 5.7" to 6.0"
The piston shown would be great for the guy who wants increase compression ratio and use a stronger piston
