Default More Air

I have a cold air induction system on my L98. The problem being that the MAF is a smaller diameter then the TB and the hookup to the induction causing a restriction. They make a kit for the MAF on the C5 to enlarge it. How about the C4, or did we get foregotten about again. Seems like this is one of the top end HP problems I'm having. Need more air comming in.
Also I've seen some plenums open up at the runners, no divisions between the runner ports. Two long oval ports on each side.
Thanks all :flag Happy Forth of July :flag

If you gut (remove end screens and 5 cooling fins) a stock L98 MAF it will flow 750 CFM, which is the same as a 52mm TB and more than enough for over 400 CHP.

Its an after-market MAF. I can take the screens out but it has a PC board, not the hot wire style of the Bosch. Both are the same inside diameter. Thanks

It sounds like a Wells MAF. I put one on the Vette but didn't like it so swapped with my IROC.

Made by Micro-Tech. According to their web page it's supposed to be better then Bosch. I'm not so sure
