EGR MISSING PROBE??????
OKAY GOT ALL THE VACUUM ISSUES CORRECTED AND EVERYTHING BACK TO WHERE IT BELONGS! BUT I BELLIEVE THAT ON THE REAR OF THE EGR THERE SHOULD BE SOME TYPE OF A PROBE? IF THERE IS MINE HAS BEEN LOST IN THE ABYSS, WHERE WOULD IT CONNECT? ANY PICS WOULD BE GREAT!

I believe your '85 L98 has the EGR Temp. Sw. on the side of the EGR Valve.
There should be a vacuum connection on the EGR Valve that hooks up to the EGR Solenoid.
On my '88 the EGR Solenoid is located on a bracket that bolts onto the rear thermostat housing bolt.
