HELP URGENT ASSISTANCE NEEDED!!!!!!!
Just posted this at crossfire forum, maybe one of you guys will know the answer?

My post: Almost got the car ready to fire and now I have to stop again, cuz the bloody tach wire broke off right at the filter(condensor?) at the back of the intake. Can I run the car without this hooked up? or will I blow up my dash? I've already puched the hood once, if this shoot car doesn't cut me some slack soon........I don't even want to think what I'll fire at the damn thing. every time I get close something else breaks, it like it doesn't want to leave the garage.

I've unplugged it from the distributor and taken it off the car. As much as I hate not having a tach, I'll live with it for now, I just don't want to FK the dash up.
