When hot, car wont start
What was it lacking? Fuel? Spark? Compression? A lot of things can become affected by the heat. It would pay to do some trouble shooting rather than just throw parts at it on another's whim. I can tell you what MY problem was, but yours is probably different. I strongly suggest you invest in a service manual for your new car. Try here: http://www.helminc.com It has lots of trouble shooting diagrams for specific problems. Good luck, and...

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I replaced the MAF, the new found code and poor running cleared, as did the hot start problem.

Why all this? L98s are very suceptable to leaky fuel injectors. When hot they will leak into the cylinders causing a very hard or no start condition.

just check the MAF, disconnect it and see if anything improves, or tap the sensor with a screwdriver lightlyand also check the fuel pressure, it should hold steady for several minutes after shutting down

Of course, you need all the regular hand tools: open and box end wrenches, complete variety of screwdrivers (phillips, flat, Torx), jumper wires and cables 8-),sockets (3/8 and 1/4 in drive, shallow and deep wall, metric and standard, manual and air-driven), ratchets and extensions, Torque wrench, pull handles and cheater pipe, dead blow hammer and the rubber kind you can throw, adjustable wrenches, a large C-clamp and channel locks.
A 12 volt test light, a digital multimeter, a paperclip, battery charger or better yet, one of the booster packs with the battery built in.
Oh yeah, hydraulic floor jack, jackstands, 2X4 and Rhino Ramps (gradual angle=low ground clearance of car).
And, while you're at it, get a compressor with air wrench, air rachet, cut off tool, DA sander, and good paint gun. Gee, what did I forget?
Now, we're ready to talk about what might be wrong with your car.
OK, forget about the credit card. Let's start talking home equity line of credit so you might recoup something!
Just kidding,
