Exhaust!!!!!! Which one do I get?????????????
My exhaust is next, but don't know which one to get. Leaning towards B&B 3 inch. Which one should I get and how hard is the install. Just installed an offroad h-pipe on my fox mustang (sorry I know I just used the Mustang word) last month hopfully its not harder then that. Thanks for the input. :flag

Go to a local shop, have your mufflers and resonator replaced with straight pipes. Trust me, you'll get the same sound & performance as the big dollar systems, and it'll only cost ya about $200, as opposed to $500.

Go to a local shop, have your mufflers and resonator replaced with straight pipes. Trust me, you'll get the same sound & performance as the big dollar systems, and it'll only cost ya about $200, as opposed to $500.

I see you are from CA. So I'd keep the B&B system intact. On another thread, some of the guys bought from TBYRNE and got some shipping damage and some bad welds. But that was only 2 other guys out of many.

So I'd keep the B&B system intact.
As for how the MUFFLERS would look..well, just look at your car now, and replace the big mufflers with a piece of pipe, and there it is.
As for myself, I wanna get chrome mufflers, so when I'm under my vette, I can see myself.

I would buy the one with the x-pipe instead of center resonator. Besides center resonator bottlenecks down from 3 inch to 23/4 or 2 1/2. Can't remember. Not too hard to install. I have done a few off of my garage floor. Now if you had a lift at your disposal.

If you put on straight pipes would it still pass inspection?
Back to the thread. Dude, get the regular old B+B or get a Corsa. I would prefer a Corsa exhaust if I wasn't planning on big, big mods in the future ie. 396 stroker or somthing.

Get the B&Bs. I just had mine put on a last week and LOVE 'EM!!
The sound and look are great.
Had one prob. with install, the end of the pipes were ovaled. Not a huge prob. but still had to bend them back to fit. Heard from one other guy who got his system last week, and he had the same prob.

B&B 3", there's nothing better in my mind, and that's how I feel owning them. Quality was excellent (also ordered from TByrne, great service). I actually put straight pipe in place of my resonator because I wanted it louder, but someone on here used to always talk about B&B quoting that the resonator actually flowed more air than the x because of the bottlenecking and speeding up of the air? 
Beyond my knowledge, but makes sense, plus the center of the resonator is an "h" which should even everything out pretty easily.

also ordered my B&B from TByrne, the resonator necks down to 2"(just measured it today). I ordered the x pipe with my system. They sent the resonator by mistake. They are sending me the xpipe this week.
