Post tune-up problems
I just tuned up my 87, new spark plug wires (ACCEL), new cap, coil and rotor, new plugs (NKG), and now when it is cold it hesitates badly and even pops a little, it also has a habit of starting to idle badly even when it warms up, and I have to shut it down and restart to get it to come out of it. When it runs right it seems great, I'm wondering if I need to reset the timing for the new plugs or something. The car has 127,000 miles but other than some valve guide leakage it seems to run fine. Any thoughts anybody??

I checked the timing and found it was set at about 0 degrees. My guess is somebody set without disconnecting the EST. I reset at 8 degrees and the problems cleared up. Thanks for the input.
