Well, hit the track again tonight. Second time in two weeks!

It was a nice night here in Southern Illinois. About 75* nice breeze and about 20 cars at the strip!!!

Got in 10 runs and I was Mr. Consistent tonight!! Guys on the radio were telling me to get out to the bracket racing!!

My car ran well tonight and was hooking up way better than last time. I performed no mods whatsoever from last week to this week. But my best time was a tenth better than last week and I was 1MPH faster.

10th: 14.386 against a 69 C3 who ran 13.78

So I had a great time once again, and can't wait to start modding her up.

You're right on my tail, and I'm in an LT1

 

I beat my brother-in-laws brother in his 96 Firebird with the LT1. His best was 14.436 but his MPH was like 97.

Great times. $15 for 10 runs, cant complain! Can't wait for the teardown and rebuild. Muahahahha!!!!

 

My '97 T/A ran 14.1 @ 98mph (stock)........... was his manual? I had a VERY strong auto lt1 f-body from what I've experienced since I let it go. My Vette has only pulled 14.2s so far, also @ 98mph, but she's got more in her.

Either way, I still love your numbers, I'd be damn happy

No it's an auto, but it's having some tranny problems. Sometimes the shifting is seat in your pants and sometimes its just like "blah".

I'm very pleased with my runs on my tired old motor. It's going to be a long winter, but it's going to pay off next year! And yes, that T/A you had was a go-getter!

 

Nice runs..if you think a .518 isn't such a hot light, then I say YOU'RE CRAZY!!

 

If you read the whole post, his best RT was a .030. That means he's on the .000 perfect not the .500 perfect, system. A .518 isn't anything to brag about on a .000 system. I'm not too worried about him, though. He DID have that .030, and practice makes perfect.

All of a sudden, the old Crossfire doesn't look too bad.
