Track update!
It was a nice night here in Southern Illinois. About 75* nice breeze and about 20 cars at the strip!!!
Got in 10 runs and I was Mr. Consistent tonight!! Guys on the radio were telling me to get out to the bracket racing!!
My car ran well tonight and was hooking up way better than last time. I performed no mods whatsoever from last week to this week. But my best time was a tenth better than last week and I was 1MPH faster.
Best Run:
R/T::: .518 (i know not so hot)
60::: 2.076 (street tires about 25psi)
330::: 5.941
1/8::: 9.139
MPH::: 76.74
1000::: 11.919
1/4::: 14.265
MPH::: 96.22
My runs broke down like this:
1st Against a Mercury Cougar:
.429 R/T 2.109 60'
14.340 to his 18.131
2nd Run against my buddy's 01 Mustang GT:
.069 R/T 2.148 60'
14.370 to his 14.424
3rd: 14.303
4th: 14.265
5th: 14.327
6th: 1 4.451
7th: 14.338
8th: 14.480
9th: 14.348
10th: 14.386 against a 69 C3 who ran 13.78
So I had a great time once again, and can't wait to start modding her up.
Bests tonight:
R/T : .030
60' : 2.071
1/4 : 14.265
MPH: 96.37
Sorry to bore you all with all my details, but it's fun! Woohoo!!!
Great times. $15 for 10 runs, cant complain!
Can't wait for the teardown and rebuild. Muahahahha!!!!
Either way, I still love your numbers, I'd be damn happy

I'm very pleased with my runs on my tired old motor. It's going to be a long winter, but it's going to pay off next year! And yes, that T/A you had was a go-getter!
All of a sudden, the old Crossfire doesn't look too bad.
RACE ON!!!
