I believe the F-body L98 with iron heads used internal EGR whereas your Al headed L98 uses external EGR.

Check that the F-body intake has facility for external EGR.

You might also check out the bolt hole angles as they changed on the F-body.

The trans am may have the ninth injector in there also. I don't know if yours does or not. If your's does, and that one doesn't, then you need to make changes. Good luck!

Both '88 L98s have the cold start injector.

Remember that the F-BODY and Y-BODY intakes use different bolt angles for the (2) center intake bolt holes. The F-BODY uses a 73 degree angle, where as the Y-BODY intake uses conventional 90 bolt angles for all (12) bolt holes. HTH's

You will also need to change the fuel rails... Gas feed from Passenger side on Vett, Driver's side on F Body

I believe you will also need to drill a hole for the heater hose fitting near the distributor.
