PKE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello to all, I have followed the instruction to the tee, And I can't get PKE light to come on while holding down the Fuel Info bottom. I have tried over 100 times and nothing. Please help! Could my PKE be bad or is there a certain time interval for pressing these bottons? I am totaly frustrated. Every so often the pke lights comes on when I start the car and then its hard to get it to turn off. I tried doing it while its on but it does not flash on and off while key in the lock position.
HELP!!!!!

Have you checked the fuse, I have a 5 amp PKE fuse inside passenger door on 93 LT1.
If that is not it I recall having a problem before that I help transmitter near door holding down door button and let the locks cycle once and then try reseting them.

I have the same problem, except my PKE light never comes on. I went so far as to remove the DIC module and check the bulb (which is ok). I found out yesterday that you can ground pin 8 of the OBD II connector and the PKE light will flash whatever code is stored in it. Have not tried that yet. If the light comes on at all, the fuse SHOULD be good, but could be intermittent connection. It also requires the RDO fuse to be intact (PKE uses the RDO and PKE fuse) on the passenger side of the dash. If I come up with more info I'll let you know, but that's all I have for now. Factory service manual is in the mail somewhere to me.
