Default Post cam dyno...

I originally dyno'd 279.7rwhp and 316.4 rwtq with an slp intake, 52mm throttle body, and muffler elims on my '92 LT1. I've since put in comp cam 218/230 duration @.050 .495/.510 lift, 1.6 pro magnum roller rockers, pushrods, lifters, dual valve springs, and timing chain. The final dyno put me at 316.6 rwhp at 5500 rpm and 329.6 rwtq at 3600 rpm. I'm very very satisfied. Next comes the exhaust

Very similar results to what I got from my Hot Cam, understandable since you put in a very similar cam. I made 269 & 300 stone stock, 313.3 and 313.3 with the hot cam. Looks like about the same amount of gain.

You're probably very happy with driveability and the sound of the cam I trust?

That's an incredable gain. I was looking at long tubes but the cam is similar price and better HP results.

Guarantee you that a cam, throttle body, RR's, roller lifters, springs, pushrods, timing chain and a tune job are going to be multiples of headers. If you do all of the labor, it will narrow the gap, but still more $$$. Here's the rub...headers without any other changes are going to yield minimal HP benefits, and the above mods without headers are not going to be maximized.

I think any shop is going to tell you your going to make (#hp, #tq) specially if your defenitly going to get it done...I'm not saying your shop will do that, I'm just saying, Yeah of course they will say 400rwhp because once they have your car and everything is installed no matter what the outcome you still gotta pay them to get your car back...and then they will tell you, well if you get these or add this it will definitly get you 400rwhp..and you end up spending extra money ..Of course a reputable co. will get you as close as possbile without the extra charges..IE where i took my car....they put 30+ hours and only charged me for i think 12...they never said i was going to get 400 but did said they had cameros putting down those numbers....
