I have this posted in Scan&Tune but no one has responded and it could go either place I'm sure.

There should be 2 sensors on pass side.
Upper-coolant temp for gage
Lower-Knock sensor

I agree, it sounds like the coolant temp switch in your other post. Have you tested your spark advance module? It's the one that sits on the pass. side close to where the hood latches down. Mine has a barcode on it. It's flat and in an upright position.
