To find out what code is on the ccm,
1 with ignition off connect pins A and G in the ALDL Connector under the drivers side of the dashboard.
2 turn ignition on, do not start
3 press Trip/Odo until "1.1" appears in the LCD
4 press Eng/Met to see code numbers
5 if there is a list and you need to go backwards press Inst/Aver
6 the code c12 means that there are no codes found
to clear codes
1 press Trip odo until "1.7" appears in the LCD
2 press Eng/Met and hold until "---" appears in the LCD
This will at least let you know what code is stored in the ccm, and clear it even if it is temporary. Post the code and I'll see if I can figure it out. My books are for a 91 but I don't think that there is much difference.

My 1990 coupe also flashes 69
I've had my 1990 six-speed coupe for over a year now, and it has flashed 69 since the moment I got it. Eventually, I reached the point where I simply ignored the 69. (Sometimes, it reminds me that wish I had a '69 Vette.)
I recently had some work done on my Corvette, and much to my surprise, the main Corvette technician at the Corvette specialty shop told me that the computer has sensed a problem with the airbag system and therefore has disarmed the airbag. I don't know if that's why the 69 flashes, but I'll call the Corvette technician and ask him. -- Eric
