smog pump help?
does the smog pump do anything important??
i have my exhaust tubes all broke where the smog pump hook up to it..
since its gutted does that mean i dont have to worry about those tubes??or is it vacuum for something else??

If your cat is gutted than the air pump is useless. Pull it and put in an eliminator pulley.
When you say ehaust tubes broken off, I get confused.
Are you talking about the stainless tubes that come off the top of the exhaust manifold or the air plumbing from pump to divereter valve and then onto check valves for manifold and cat.
