water pump going?
Is there a way to tell if your water pump is going out? Also does it just go out or can they go out slow? This backyard mechanic told me that your cooant temp level will go up a little that is how you can tell but that doesn't sound right. I would rather hear from the people that have corvette's and have gone through this experiance. Thanks

Water pumps don't get weaker with age. They fail. The bearing or seal (or both) wear out and they quit working or start leaking. If the pump is turning and the drive, (belt?) isn't slipping, it's pumping.
