Default Austin, TX vettes check in

Guys, I'm down in Austin for business and I was wondering if there are any tracks(official or otherwise) or possibly dyno tuners in this area. I'm down here with my car and not much else to do during my evenings. Thanks.

P.S. If anybody wants to get togther for a beer let me know.

Is San Antonio close enough?

If so here is what the Alamo Area Corvette Club has going on this weekend:

Fri 16 Jul – Hooter’s Cruise night. The AACC hosts a Cruise night at the Hooter’s on 281 and Bitters. Event runs from 6pm until you are tired.

Sun 18 Jul – Buzzie’s Hill Country Car Show in Comfort, TX. Show runs 9am-5pm. Leaving to caravan at 8:30am from the McDonalds/Exxon station at I-10 and Ralph Fair Rd (FM3351), exit #550. Judging begins at noon with awards at 4pm. ! Buzzie’s is a great BBQ place so the food will be great. The show is held in the park so it should be a great venue. Five Corvette classes available. Registration forms available online at http://www.bulverde.com/STCC/flyers/buzzies.gif

Get ahold of forum member "Vettenoob", he lives just down the road from Austin. Last I saw of him, he had a margarita machine set up in his backyard and was giving free drinks to everybody!!!!!!

Well, I guess I missed the Hooters run. That would have been fun. I'll have to see if I can make the sunday thing. Issues in the lab may come up but I hope I can. Thanks for the info guys.

I wish I had more notice, I slept in after a night of making the M.C.A.A. proud! Can I get more than a days notice? Thanks.
