Default Ask Pro Charger

Has anyone called and asked the ProCharger people what makes their charger sound so lousy? Gee, what would an aluminum single mass flywheel and a proCharger sound like together?

I'd love to be able to install a Magna Charger, but they don't make them for a C4.

I understand it's the square cut gears that make the whine,,.....but the box of rocks at idle...I don't know.

I called Procharger Friday and discussed with a manager my issues...and of course one of them was the sound..he said they test each one before they ship them out..if you give him your serial # of the charger he can tell you at what decibal level it had before it shipped, my was 98 decibals, which he described as normal.....

I thought Powerdyne claimed to have the quietest blower on the market...so, Procharger is cutting into their market too?

I don't know what all you guys are crying about. With the hood shut it doesn't sound that loud, and at 2000RPM, you can barely hear it.

I wish mine was louder.
