Default """Attention Electrical Guys"""help please

I've got c5 mirrors mounted on my c4, now I just got to match up the wires--They do work--lots of other people have done it. I think I might have crossed some wires together on my c4 causing a short or blown fuse--I'M CROSSING MY FINGERS!! But I can't located where in the world the power mirror fuse is located. I don't think its in my fuse panel, is there another place its located? I do have all the dash pulled out revealing all electrical components..please help if you have any suggestions where I start---Fact 1, I was told there is no way to damage the c5 mirror crossing wires, but all the wires coming out of the car were in fact touching one another--so I'm just hoping its just a simple fuse....thanks

According to my GM manual the mirrors are powered through the cruise control fuse. Hope this helps.

My 90's owners manual shows the #12 fuse in passenger side dash fuse panel to be for ac/heated mirrors. Not sure if it's for mirror motors though. Test for a hot wire with a test light with key on. I know my mirrors only work with key on. I'm pretty sure if you just hook all the wires up any ol' way you'll have problems.
