Bad Day with U-Joints!
Well I knew that I was going to need to replace my front driveshaft u-joints sooner then later, but didn't realize how baddly they really needed changing.
So I was going 70mph on the freeway, sudden horrible vibration. I slowed down, got on the first exit, which happened to be close to the alignment shop I use. Stopped in, asked them to look at it. They wanted to drive real quick to feel the issue. Well that only lasted about 1 mile before he decided to park it instead of having the driveshaft drop out on him.
Good news, u-joint didn't completely drop out and screw everything. Bad news, I now have a leak from somewhere int he differental case. Shop was closing by the time we towed it over there, so not sure until tomorrow. Hoping its just some sort of seal. Anybody happen to know how those are replaced, etc?
