Autotap or ?????
Specifically for my LT4 with OBD2 is there any basis why I should choose Autotap, Ease, or some other software???
I am leaning toward and ready to buy Autotap........should I just do it or should I choose something else??

One advantage Ease has over the other vendors is that Ease is a product partner with GM. Ease sells a Service Programming Tool authorized by GM for flash reprogramming late OBD2 cars under warranty with GM supplied programs. If anyone knows what GM is doing under the covers of the ECM/PCM it is Ease.
I used to sell the OBD1 and OBD2 Personal versions to CF members at a discount, but Ease has decided to increase user base in the Personal version, so they now sell some of the Personal versions directly through eBay at such a huge discount you can "BuyItNow" for less than Ease was charging the reps. Full warranty new tools. Check for a sellor named "autotoolworld". Ease also offers a generic OBD2 scan tool that works on Palm/Sony CLE/Dell AX5 handhelds. It's nearly as comprehensive as the PC based version, isn't that expensive, and you can use a Palm/etc. instead of a laptop.
Another advantage of Ease over most tools is that an Ease GM OBD2 scan tool will scan everything GM OBD2 with parameter sets specific to each vehicle. Got an OBD2 Saturn, or GMC truck, or Pontiac, or Camaro? All covered. I can always fire up a copy of the Personal OBD2 and send you screen captures if you'd like. Feel free to email me directly for more info or answers (biased in favor of Ease tools of course).
Unfortunately I last checked for a response minutes before yours, and with no response at that point proceeded to place my order with Autotap.
