Cruise Control Question
Had occasion to use the Cruise Control yesterday. Was driving in the hills and valleys. When on level ground and when climbing, everything ok but when going down hill, I could hear a slight wining noise. Is this normal for a 91 Corvette or does something need to be fixed?

sounds like you might need to change the rear diff fluid.
the cruise in its own right won't whine... however, a mechanical problem would show itself, mainly due to engine braking on the downhill.
