ATF temp gauge
My tranny will be rebuilt soon and I'd like to add
ATF temp gauge to see what's going on while driving.
Where is the best place to get one, which one
would you recomend and where should sender unit
be installed?

When I get there, I will have a bung welded into the trans pan for an additional engine oil temp sender. Then I will rig up a mini toggle switch on the dash to toggle either sender to the stock, in dash, digi, read out. Others have written about putting a tee in a cooler line, some for the in line, and some for the out. I'd be afraid of partially blocking the fluid flow with the heat bulb or it being too far back inside the tee to properly read the temp. besides, the pan temp is the temp of the oil going into the pick up.
