back up lights wont work
well like it says, they dont. they used to sometimes, but now it seems they hardly come on. almost like ther'es a short. are these cars bad for it? how can i fix it? please help men. thanks so much

On your ZF S6 40 trans there's a backup light switch on driverside up high near top mounting bolt to clutch housing. May be switch or wiring harness/plug or short in wiring. Check that out and let us know.

I have the same problem with my 92. I thought I had it fixed, but it's not working again. I had removed the switch and reinstalled it and it worked for a while. So, I'm guessing it's time to replace the switch.
