I'm running the stock pan so I stayed away from a high volume pump, just got a high pressure one. But with your pan you could safely use a HV one. I used a Melling, but there are other good ones too. I would also recommend a hardened shaft w/ steel coupler and More Performance's LT1/ 4 oil pressure saver. Also replace the drive if you haven't already.

Much debate over this question...check out the archives, you will have to draw your own conclusions.
Based on personal experience and that of two close friends, I would use nothing more than the Melling 10% over pump. Frankly, if I were starting over, I would likely use a standard flow Melling. All of us that have had problems, had large capacity Canton pans, and heads that had the return drains machined and polished.
