Squeaky Glass Hatch
My 89 Coupe' rear hatch squeaks whenever I bounce over a manhole cover, etc. It makes a heck of a racket. I've located the squeak, it's the 2 hinges at the top. If you twist or push the glass sideways when the hatch is open - same noise.
My struts are original, and barely open the hatch. Does anyone have experience where replacing the struts made this noise go away? Do the struts hold the glass in place making this side to side movement go away?
