Quick R134a conversion question
Just wondering what adjustment i need to make to the pressure switch when converting to r134a.. (Ive heard i need to change it to adjust to the different pressure vs r12)

Ideally, you will have a manifold gage set so that it can be adjusted to shut off when the low side reads 22.5 psi. With engine running at 1200 rpms or better, the radiator fan on, and the a/c on max, disconnect the blower motor. The low side will drop and the compressor will cycle off - should allready be set at 25 psi for R12. Turn the screw counterclockwise about 1/4 of a turn to reduce/clockwise to raise and retest. Usually a 1/4 to 1/2 turn is all it needs.
