Default Changing ATF

I had my tranny rebuilt with Borg Warner clutches, high
quality steels and all of the good stuff so I'd also like to
use high quality ATF to go with it.

Which ATF should I go with and what procedure should I follow
while filling the tranny for the first time?

If you can get Mobil-1 synthetic ATF, that would be the best way to go. Any other synthetic that is equal to the Dextron II or III stuff should work. Castrol or Valvoline will also work. Part of it depends on what is available.

Can you order fluids thru internet sites?? Places like Summit Racing carry Redline products and their synthetic ATF is very good. Summit Racing does ship world-wide but you may want to send them an e-mail and ask about shipping to Croatia. www.summitracing.com

I thought the same thing about using Mobil-1 Synthetic fluid. Also added a tranny cooler at the same time.

About a year or so later, I had to rebuild. I'm not blaming the syntethic, but two shops told me the same thing. The synthetics are too slippery and you are far better off using normal tranny fluid and regular changes (about 25K miles).
