Default Mini Ram problems

Has anybody ever heard of the miniram not fitting aftermarket heads? I have some ported Brodix Track 1 heads that are ported and the intake will not cover the top of the intake port. Its about 1/6" gap between the port and intake(with the intake on I can see inside the head port). It does not seal. Guess my heads are ported too big Well I will have a used miniram for sale shortly...

I ported mine for 1206 gasket and I had RJ out some weld at the top of the Ports to seal better, not a big deal. I think you need to do the same thing with the SR.

Mines port matched to the 1207 gaskets. It looks like I would need a 1/2" weld on both sides

the stock miniram has a angle machined right above the ports (probably to make it easier to get on and off), I welded this up and squared off the corner. thats about 3/16" added thickness above the ports. this works pretty well for the 1206 gasket size.
But since you have a 1207 gasket ( .070" taller port than the 1206) its going to be real close. I suspect it can be done, but you'll have to be real careful to get the intake on just right.
If you've had the heads milled or the intake has been milled to fit another motor then the fitup will be questionable at best.
