My rears are getting worn. Fronts are in good shape still. Goodyear GSC's (not runflats). So do I pretty much need to replace the rears with GSC's again, for handling balance? That's what I'm thinking. Wish the fronts showed same wear level as the rears, then I'd just put Khumo Ecsta's on all four corners...

There's a pair of 17" goodyears floating around here somewhere. I think they were $125 plus shipping.
I'm replacing rears too so I've been checking the ads up here. I say put on some decent used ones now, then replace all as one set. I had Ecsta 712s last time, got 18000 miles out of them, and I used them up. I'll be upgrading to Yoko's or Kumho MXs when I get my next full set.

In early July I put four Bridgstone Potenza RE 750's on my newly purchased '91 Convertible and they are fantastic. The old tires were Goodyears and they were not only noiser but didn't handle as well. My driving could be considered moderatley aggressive especially when showing how she handles with friends aboard. I caught Costco's July sales special and paid less that $700.00 total out the door with life time balacing and rotation.
