camshaft differences- water pump drive??
If i use an electric water pump, can i use the stock cam?
Can i use pre-LT1 hydraulic roller cam in the engine without modification?
what i want to have is a comp cams nitrous HP cam (pn08-303-8, grind number NX288HR) and an electric water pump. CAN I DO IT WITHOUT MILLING THE CAM?
curse this new technology!!!
(that is ironically 11 years old, and outdated)

Here's a picture of the OEM water pump shaft. Notice the gear on the end of it. This meshes with the cam gear. When you go with an electric water pump, you just remove this entire assembly and seal up the hole in the timing cover.
Here's an article I did on installing the Meziere electric water pump: https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...=231&TopicID=2
