I have a 94 coupe LT1 and lately
after engine is running at normal
operating temp. I will get a real
unstable idle, foot has to be on brake
or car will jump. I checked for vac. leaks
none that i can find. With a/c on, it
is real bad. driving down the road there
is no problem.
Thanks for any help

TTT for you 'cause I've been having this problem also. I had new PCV and fuel filter put in last year. Seems to only happen when weather is real hot. During last winter it would very seldom come on, but summer comes, it'll do it every single time I take the car out and car's had time running around.
It seems like the ECM detects extra air , or TPS is telling ECM of a change in throttle position, or something...I have in mind to replace the TPS (throttle position sensor) and the IAC (Idle air control) sensor in the future.
Hopefully someone out there has seen this problem and gotten a fix for it.
Test for a bum solder connection in the ECM by blowing warm air on it with a hair dryer with the engine cold and running ok. If it starts to run bad, the ECM is bad.
