hood removal question

Guy's,
I'm planning on having my hood and the top of the bumper cover painted on my '92. Are there any "secrets" or helpful hints on removing
and replacing the hood? (the bumper cover will be painted in place).

I've heard that it's pretty heavy so, if you don't have a hoist, plan on getting the aid of two strong men and a boy.

Actually, I'm more concerned with the alignment when it is reinstalled. I read a post some time ago about this on one of the forums, but I can't find it.

To help make realigning easier, use a yellow grease marker to trace your hinges before taking it off.

{edit} That should be trace your hing brackets (were they attach to the hood)
