Default Eureka!! I found the problem!!!!!

Your not going to believe this!
As you know I've been having this problem with my car falling on it's face at about 5200 RPM ever since I've had the blower installed last month.
Yesterday I called ATI and explained how upset I was that I wasn't making power on the dyno, falling off at around 5000 RPM etc.

The tech says I should have more than 55 psi fuel pressure (I explained this on my last post about the dyno)

Anyway, one of the things he said was to take the little white plastic
restrictor out and see if the pressure goes up. (I already had the FMU as high as it goes)

Well, I did and cranked it up and it didn't make any difference at all.
He thought it would be more than 38psi at idle.

I'm coming home from work this morning and there was some mickey the mope in front of me going real slow so I nailed it and when I came around him I noticed I was at 5400 RPM and it was still pulling!!

I went right to an area where I can get on it and I'll be a S.O.B if it didn't pull strong all the way to 5800 in each gear without a problem and felt real good too!!

To say I was happy is an understatement but what the hell was that restrictor doing?

I noticed the fuel pressure was only about 5 psi more at boost than on the dyno and it had been that high and higher before and it still fell on it's face around 5200 rpm.

Now I can't wait to get it tuned!

It sure makes me mad that I went through all this because of a little piece of plastic.

Default Volume not pressure

Pressure is not volume, there certainly is a chance that the plastic piece was big enough that it was reducing the volume to an unacceptable level even though the pressure was fine. Like having too many bends in your fuel line it's not one of those things that's immediately obvious but can reduce volume significantly.

It comes with the procharger kit.
It's in the vacuum line that runs from the intake to the FMU just before the FMU.

I've ran mine with and without..didn't seem to make any differrance........maybe it depends on the vac/pressure source.
