I have a newly built 383 that I keep having problems with. After the engine gets hot it starts to sputter and then it dies. Sometimes I can get it to run again after a few hours or sometimes days. I think I have it narrowed down to the injectors not firing. Why is it doing this???? Please HELP!!! I can't figure this one out.

What makes you think the injectors aren't firing?
We need some more details.
How long does the engine run before it dies?
What is the coolant temp when it dies?
Does the engine run long enough to go closed loop?
How does the engine run when first started?
Any error codes?
If this is a heat related problem, I'd first suspect the ignition module is the culprit. Ignition not fuel.
I tested the injectors with a noid light while cranking on a cold engine. When the engine dies it is after driving for a long period of time (approx a hour or more). There is battery on both sides of the injector plug. I have been told it is most likely the engine ground for the ECM. I am not sure where the engine ground is?
