I have an 85, and I've asked this ? before, but I didn't get much help. I upgraded the wires to the yellow accel 8.5's. Now I desperately need wire dividers after starting the car up and smelling burning rubber from the wires sitting on the headers---I either want chrome/stainless/yellow look, Something nice looking to go with a show looking polished engine, I probably need "2" 4 wire, "4" 2 wire holders...I tried searching---but what a Headache....and I don't want that simple plastic part that slips under the wires and just clips the wires in place, something that sorta wraps around the wires nicely..thanks guys...

I have the ones that use the center cover bolts to hold them in place and they work great. But I also have the high temp boot covers on also, or my wires would melt very fast. I got them from JEGS.

Spectre Industries makes the simple plastic ones that I used with my 8.5mm MSD's. They don't mount to anything, they just neatly seperate the wires and keep them from the hot exhaust.

I have a LT1, but when I was looking for custom looms, everything was for the L98 style engines. Maid for you has a nice array of looms that look cool. I really liked the bowtie style loom.

I have the Made For U (from Summit) looms on the IROC with MSD 8.5mm wires and they keep the wires nicely in place.

They clamp around the wire and mount to the perimeter valve cover bolt holes. I used a Dremel to open up the wire holes a little to neatly accept the 8.5mm size.
