Default Crossed eyed headlight replacement???

I just replaced my passenger headlight motor with a rebuilt one. When I tried to turn the lights on one light opened and one light closed? Then when I turn them off they do the same. Does anybody have a fix for this??? Thanks!!!

With the switch off, try unplugging the light that is open and turn the lights on. Then plug in the other light and turn the lights off to see if they both close.

Maybe the wires are reversed on one of the motors?

Well I tried unplugging the new motor(passenger side) that was closed. Turned on the lights( drivers side open) then plugged it back in. when I turned off the lights it did nothing(passenger side new motor) and when I turned it back on I was in the same spot They were flip flopped again. I will try your Idea in the morning Thanks!!!
