My '96 CE has been misfiring for 6-8 weeks now. Throws a code about once every 10 days. Code is P0300 - eninge misfire. Finally bought Enginuity Scanner and hooked it up day before yesterday - and it told me to check cylinder #1. Well, I put plugs and wires on in May, so there should not have been a problem. But, trusting in computers , I ripped the #1 plug wire out and replaced it with the original wire. Voila! Problem solved. Sure is nice to drive without that misfire. The wires are Taylor, so I'm going to see if they will replace it.

I am chasing a code 43 problem. I changed to taylor wires also. When completed I took if a ride (about 1 hour) no codes and running fine.
Next day code 43 . At night I can see wires arcing and glowing. All wires are neat and secured not touching anything. I called Taylor and they said glowing is normal not arcing. They said to return the wires for a exchange (puchased from Summit). I asked if they have had any problems with these 8mm wires and he said less than 10% defective.
