High Duty cycle = fuel cut off???
Hello. I am working with a DFI system and trying to learn the ins and outs. My 383 is cutting out right at 6K. While datalogging today, a code appeared that said static duty cycle exceeding 100% in one or more injectors. Could this cause my problem? If feels like I am hitting a rev limiter. The DFI fuel cut off is set at 6700. I have replaced plugs, wires, etc. etc.. The injectors are 30lbs and should be plenty for my combo (see sig). What direction should I go to reign in the Duty Cycle? Thanks!

If you have some cells that are going over 100% DC for some reason the ECU doesn't like it. Have you checked to see if indeed you need that much fuel in the VE Maps at that RPM and Kpa point? Go back into your steady state base VE map and make the numbers smaller thats what we had to do on this porsche application. An easy way to tell is to go into that map and click on the "PW Est" button, the cells in red will be the problem cells.
Have you datalogged and seen what the AFR is? And if so is it lean or rich in that area where it cuts out? I would be willing to bet you are rich. Also was the steady state VE map built by using the VE Estimator tool? I have a pro hardware key here and all the software if you like you can send me the file and I can take a look at it.
Awesome! I'll send you my VE table. I datalogged and set it for 500 seconds. Hit the trigger and started. I thought it would automatically save it but it didn't. I have to run it again and make sure it is saved. I'll send you the VE table and Datalog. May be Monday though. Thanks a bunch!!!!
