Small world. I owned that plenum in the auction about 15 years ago. It made no difference in performance. It did fall apart while driving and scared the life out of me as the car went to WOT condition when the lid blew off. If you look close you can see the drywall screws I used to put the lid back on so I could get home.
MRP stood for Modine(?) Racing Products and they also made a plastic 58mm T-body. Again the thing was a paperweight as the thing would stick and the blades did not match the bore.
They went out of business as soon as they started shipping, most likely due to the problems stated above. They were located somewhere in MI.

Might be helpful to know who MRP is....a google search brings up nothing. Anybody heard of 'em
They were in business years ago - I have the Car Craft mag where that intake was tested against the others -
I believe they became Performance Resource, also out of NJ
A nitrous backfire would be fun to watch. Kinda like a M-80 in a mailbox.
A dude in a mustang running his mouth didn't know when to shaddup - he was poking fun at my Trans Am (GTA) saying how it was a heavy pig and he would wipe it clean off the track - I said sure
lined up, I ran a 13.0@109 w/ my 5.7L GTA to his exploded plastic intake up & into the hood too much nitrous
