My 86 suddenly just started dumping trans fluid from the torque converter area. It still runs fine. Lots of fluid & smoke as it gets on the exh system. Does anyone know what this might be, where is best place to get fixed? The car only has 24,000 miles on it.
Once the trans is out, the seal is about a 5 minute job, tops
Just be sure to check the converter to make sure there are no deformities cutting into the seal or it may go again
