Follow the pair of black wires from the hood lights down to the headlight wells. there you should find a connector (one each side) that can be unplugged. No damage will result.
FYI. I installed a small switch on each light to kill the lites when the hood is open.
On the '90 there is a connector on each side of car in the front part of the engine compartment (not on the hood). There is one for each light. They are near the headlight connectors.

If your '95 is like my '93, down in the front drivers side, down where the round plastic ball is. There is a fuse holder. remove the cap and take out the fuse.

I just leave mine unplugged and made dummy plugs for the weather pack connectors to keep dirt and corrosion out. I know where they're at if I ever need them.
The early(?) C-4's don't have a separate fuse for these underhood lights. These lights are part of another lighting system. My '93 as in the other '92 at least had a separate fuse for these lights, just for guys like me . I don't what year they made the change-over.
