Haeders on my 91

I just had long tube race headers and a cat free exhaust sys. on my 91 and it seams to come off the line a little slower.Any sugestions. Anything that i can do?

This sounds like it's normal. You lost some low end torque due to the LT headers and free flowing exhaust. Before somebody else corrects me, you didn't really lose any torque it just shifted higher up in the power band so this is the expected result. I bet your car pulls harder on the top end now.

I have a chip on the way for it . Do you think that will help out on the low end?

It might. Hard to say w/o knowing exactly what parameters the chip modifies. They usually advance the timing, which will make the car feel more responsive so it might help.
