Help Needed 90 Convert Headlight Problem
Pretty new to the forum, having trouble looking up history and have a question regarding my headlights only opening up a little past halfway.
Is there any adjustment for this, or is the motor or something in the mechanism failing? Also how do you search for when a question like this has been previously asked? Steve
Go to page 3 or the date 8-21-2004 and you will find the most recent question and answers on this subject. The correct info is 99% going to be the nylon spacer replacement.
Yup. I'll lay odds its the nylon spacers inside your headlight motors that have ground themselves into powder over the years.
Go can purchase them from Home Depot for .69 cents for a pack of three or play with the Big Dogs at MAD, Ecklers etc.. and pay like $4.99 plus shipping.
If you decide to go to Home Depot (smart man) ask for item number 595609.
had the same problem with the gel inside the headlight gear
you will have to dissasemble the headlight motor..i fixed the problem, using 3 pieces of steel, out a silicon hose around them, and put it in the gear..works fine!!
