Well I was driving in the rain the other day (don't yell at me!) and I noticed that my drivers side wiper blade was going way out past the A pillar??? and would sometimes get stuck!
I bought the car a few months ago, and just noticed it really...there is also an unmistakeable scratch on the outer window edge where the blade was stuck or had been hitting prior...
Didn't measure them yet- but to me it looks like they could be long...the wipers sit normal when turned off...and I don't think an adjustment would help, as it does not look not out of whack???
I have the same problem on my '93, left a wiper mark on the windshield, hopefully it could be buffed out. The blades also crash into each other sometimes. I believe early C-4's all have some sort of wiper problem, that wasn't fixed until 95 or 96. Yeah after the model was on its way out they fixed it. There is a fix posted somewhere for the rest of us. It involves changing wiper arms to the 96 style, BUT that style is not as aerodynamic as the others. I tried to use a blade from a local auto parts store, and it didn't do the job for long and gave up. I then went to GM and bought a set of $50 replacement blades (too bad they don't have an icon for being a sucker) Hoping for drier weather next time
