Ive noticed that i had some leakage around the rad cap thats located on the tank at the rear of the engine compartment on the passenger side. Thought it was the cap but the actual leak is where the brass hole(cap attachs to) sits into the plastic tank. I put a c clamp on iot with some wood shims but it doesnt want to stay down.
Anyone know of a method to fix this or a source for a new tank. I dare ask GM for the cost of a new one but also need the system sealed. Argh.
Thanks
Brian
The tank isn't really that expensive, <$50. Try calling Chris May at Superior Chevrolet in Merriam, KS. He will give some great discounts to Forum members. 1-800-728-8267. Just ask for him and tell you're a CF member.
