The opti..as you have been told is under the damn water pump! It is a royal pain to replace and it is not really something that needs replacing as much as it needs to be done away with. I suggest and have bought the Delteq unit. It is easy to do, works like a charm and the guys at Delteq are sooooo helpful. Go to www.optispark.com and you can read all about it. It is a little expensive, but you will never have to replace it again. I would also suggest that you consider having the water pump upgraded to a Mezzaire electric.

Ya think? I had no personal knowledge to draw on re/ forced induction but I just can't see any additions to the engine compartment making these things any easier to work on!
