how doing a 383??
I would like to know first what is a 383 and how to build it.
and also how much it can cost.
It is better to take my original 350 and work on it or remove the 350,put it apart, and begins with nothing?
I have an original 1988 L-98 with 28 000 miles.
thanks guys.

You could also take a crank from a 400 and have it worked over to fit for the 350's medium-size main journals. (its a 3.75" stroke crank but built for the 400's larger journals) Nowadays they make them for us already sized for the 350.
Youre looking at 3K+, it depends greatly on who builds it.
