I would always use dex-cool, it was designed to be less harmful on aluminum engine parts(cooling sys, heads, block), which we see more of these days, not just Vettes. You can buy dex-cool at your local Wal-Mart for about $6 gal. There is also a Prestone 5 year red/orange type for about the same price. Believe it or not, Prestone makes an anti-freeze that can be added to EITHER type!!! I'd like to know what scientist figured that out, and his explanation of how that works!! I also saw a Zerex 5 year type somewhere that was GREEN (???). I bought that and used it in an old classic of mine, so the overflow bottle looks green.
